Adler and Allan welcomes David Jarvis to its Water Division
Published: 26 September 2023
26 September 2023. Adler and Allan is delighted to announce the appointment of David Jarvis as Operations and Commercial Director, for the newly formed water division under the leadership of Mike Williamson, MBE.
In this role David will work across the Adler and Allan portfolio supporting the growth strategy, with a focus on delivering exceptional service for its customers through operational delivery.
David began his career in the water industry in 2006 as a trainee Network Service Technician at Severn Trent, diagnosing issues on the network, finding leaks, visiting customers, responding to incidents, and operating the network.
In 2010 David joined a development programme with Severn Trent which covered operations and business transformation across water and wastewater treatment. The nine years that followed saw him running operational business units and delivering change programmes, across metering, workforce management and field operations in both water and wastewater.
In 2019 David left water briefly when he joined Amazon to lead large scale operations within their logistics business. In his time here, David built and scaled an Amazon start-up business called Amazon Freight serving business customers across the UK and EU. After this role he joined PA where he worked across several sectors including transport, energy, and water utilities, supporting clients to design and deliver transformation in asset management and operations.
David said of his appointment: “I am impressed by Adler and Allan’s purpose, vision, and plans for growth within the water sector. There is nothing I enjoy more than getting my PPE on and spending time out on site with teams delivering essential services, keeping taps wet and manholes dry! There is no greater purpose than protecting the environment, working across the industry to prevent, reduce and remediate pollution.”
