Water division
The water industry is tackling some of the biggest challenges of the 21st century, but much of this issue has its roots in the past, leaving us with an aging infrastructure today. A more sustainable approach to asset maintenance and replacement will be key to overcoming the challenges. Added to this is the challenges that tackling climate change and population growth is placing on our water and wastewater infrastructure.
Water companies are committed to achieving Net-Zero by 2030, saving 10 million tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions compared to the government's 2050 target. This requires collaboration between water companies, policymakers, and the supply chain.
Population growth and climate change are causing sewer systems to be overwhelmed, especially with combined sewer overflows (CSOs). The Storm Overflows Taskforce is developing a strategy to meet the reduction targets set by the Environment Act 2021.
We help water companies overcome some of their biggest challenges relating to their assets, from managing CSOs to keeping their water and sewage networks flowing, by delivering consultative asset management, helping them to understand their underground network, sewer and wastewater monitoring and management, and installing, maintaining, and remediating their drainage assets.
This ensures they can effectively manage their budget and asset cycles, while reducing risk to the environment, staying compliant, avoiding fines, operational downtime, and customer disruption, while operating at maximum efficiency and margin.
We do this in a way no one else can because only we have a range of specialists and services in house to fully manage water and wastewater assets from end-to-end.
